Black & Decker Lawn Hog 18-Inch 12 Amp Electric Mulching Mower #MM575

Due to the rising gas prices I recently decided to purchase an electric mower. After reviewing and comparing several models I decided on the Black and Decker Lawn Hog. It is a twelve amp electric mulching mower with an eighteen inch cut.

There are several reasons I decided to purchase this mower. The main reason is the warranty. It has a lifetime guarantee on the mower deck along with a two year guarantee on the mower itself. Since the mower's deck is made of polymer I expect it to break eventually.

So the fact that it has a lifetime warranty was a big plus for me. Once I ordered it I found my self wondering if it would be hard to push. My previous lawn mower was self propelled. Once I used it all those worries I had worked up in my head disappeared.

This mower is supper easy to push. Starting the mower is effortless as well. No more tugging on a pull cord. Just plug it in pull up the lever and away you go.

The fact that it is corded is a slight draw back. With gas hovering around four dollars a gallon I decided I could be careful not to run over the cord.

Another thing I like about this mower is how quiet it is. I used to wait until I knew my neighbors were awake before I would cut my grass. With this mower I don't have to worry about that anymore and can cut my grass on my time schedule.

After using this mower a couple of times I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to purchase an electric mower. Just be careful not to run over the cord.
