Craftsman LT 2000 19.5 HP 42" Mower, Electric Start, Manual Transmission

I have owned and operated this riding mower for the past two years and haven't had one mechanical issue or problem. I have an acre of land with several 200 year old trees and a large private drive. The mower does an excellent job & I have not had any issues with the engine or any type of operating issues. I use this tractor all year long. I live in the DC suburbs and use this tractor for many thing besides mowing the lawn. I purchased three attachments: snow plow, lawn sweeper & aerator. Surprisingly I purchased the lawn sweeper due to the many leaves in the fall & was very skeptical but after reading several positive reviews I decided to purchase one and I was so impressed on how many leaves & the debris the 12 bushel sweeper could handle and how much easier it made my life each fall. I also just drive it to the back of my property & dump the debris for my gardens next years compost. The snow plow is also used in the winter and completes my drive in under thirty minutes.

The only downside I have found was the assembly portion, the manual was hard to follow and I practically needed a magnifying glass to follow the diagrams. I also found it difficult to attach the chains that came with the plow. I keep them on all year to make my life a little easier. But all in all I love this tractor & I also converted my next door neighbor which owns a competitors tractor and will be purchasing his new Craftsman this spring.
