Toro Walk Power Mower

I own the Toro Walk Power Mower. Home Depot carries this mower and it costs around $325.00. It comes with a 2 year "guarantee to start" warranty, so if you have any problems within the first 2 years you can have it fixed. I have had no problems with it, however.

It is easy to push and has several different speeds. It has front wheel drive and a 22 inch cutting deck. It is designed with a 3-in-1 mowing system. I like the recycle feature which chops the cut grass into fine particles. This makes a great mulch for your yard. If you don't want to recycle it is easy to bag up the clippings or just have them discarded out the side of the mower.

This Toro mower is a great buy for the price. This lawn mower features Toro's patented Personal PaceĀ® self-propel system which makes mowing your grass easy and enjoyable. The engine is powerful and cuts even high grass and tough weeds.

Self propelled drive works well, which is good because I am a petite female and not too strong. It was much easier to push than my old mower that was just propelled by me. Engine started on the first try and runs smoothly. The controls are easy to work, which is what I really needed and hoped for because I am not very mechanically inclined.

It maneuvered around my flower bed and shrubs easily and made clean, neat lines. I was happy with this mower and feel it was a good buy.

Great engine, rest is junk
by: JoeHomeowner

I have a standard 65X100 lot. typically mowers last 10 - 12 years for me. This mower still starts great but the deck rotted out from within and after 5 years it is unusable. I looked at newer versions of the same mower and they have the same cheap steel body that rotted out on this version. I will never buy a Toro again. What a shame.

I have the Toro 20005 -- typical $300 self propelled Toro. What a pile of junk! The Tecumseh engine is a good engine, but the rest is bad news. Bad deck design -- mulching function is useless -- grass sticks to the deck, falls in clumps, or stalls the engine. Wheel axels are soft metal and have worn within 2 years. Self-propel gear box just quit at 5 years. I opened it up and the top gear teeth are all sheared off -- soft metal. Used on a typical residential lot of 100' X 150'.

Toro once had a great reputation. Not now, never buy another

Mower cuts off reply
by: Anonymous

may need to have carb rebuilt. I had same problem
with my 15 year old Ariens. Repair shop used a carburetor kit to solve problem.Mower pops a little
either from carb or spark plug wire (original) but
runs ok and doesn't cut off anymore.

Help: Lawn Mower Cuts Off!!!
by: Anonymous

My neighbor ask me to research his lawn mower issue. He's by the way an Airplane mechanic.

He wants to know what would cause the mower to cut
off after running about 5 minutes. He's did the basic up keep (filter, oil & Spark plug changes) and has had the mower less than a year.
