Grub control

I was faced with ugly brown patches on my lawn..was told it was the dreaded grubs which help feed the mole population or leads to AAAAH Japanese beetle infestation.

Mom said that I should water the lawn with a glycerin solution. I'm not a scientist so
I checked ingredients on things I do have at home...ta-da...baby shampoo.

Use a spray bottle attachment to your water hose. Dump a 12 oz. bottle of baby shampoo in it. Water till you can't smell the shampoo. It really works. The kids like doing it because of the smell and possibility of "bubbles."

I have actually had the same problem with my grass and have spent a ton of money of fertilizer's etc. I tried this trick and it actually works. I was very skeptical. It's amazing what home remedies actually work.

Hey I never heard of this one before but I will be trying it out tomorrow. I have noticed these annoying patches also in my yard and I love this hint. Thank you.
