Honda Rotary Mower Model HR215

My current mower is a Honda Rotary Mower, Model HR215. It was a hand-me-down from my father after I moved into a house of my own and needed something to take care of the yard.
He purchased it to tend our yard in town in 1991, and replaced it with a riding mower after we moved to the country some years later.
Apart from a few idle years under the shed, it has had fairly constant use in its seventeen years. To my knowledge the blade has only been replaced once, and it still cuts grass (and twigs, and small trees!) really well.
After the period of idleness, my father worked on the carburetor a bit to get it back into great working shape for me to use. In the two years it has been in my custody I have not had any problems with it at all.
As a busy college student, I don’t always have time to keep the landscaping trim and neat, but this mower can handle getting the yard back under control.
I recently tackled some waist high weeds that were beginning to become small bushes and trees. Despite the abuse I hand it, the Honda just keeps on going. It still cranks easily, and getting it started is never tiring.
If I have to shut it off to move something out of the way, it snaps back to life with barely a tug on the starter.
I would recommend the purchase of a mower from Honda to anyone after seeing how well this one has lasted.
