John Deere EZtrak Z445 Zero Turn Lawn Mower

I have owned this mower for a few months now and so far I am very, very happy with the performance. It breezes through the longest grass and doesn't slow down a bit. It cuts very, very smoothly and it corners sharply and quickly.

Another bonus is the way the cutting deck is designed. The wheels under the deck are offset and it is amazing how you can get right up next to a wall or fence. I find myself sometimes skipping trimming because there isn't as much of a need with this mower!

I am very pleased with the comfortable ride and the seat and the overall driving position. it just feels right. The seat has a nice high back that even allows you to lean back a back while riding. This may not seem too important but when you have a lawn the size of mine the seat it one of the first things you check out.

Honestly it is difficult for me to find any negatives about this mower other than the price and the fuel consumption but these are important reasons for people to consider.

I am willing to trade fuel consumption and price to have a mower powerful enough to tackle parts of my lawn that only get mowed once every 3 weeks. The grass is very, very long here and the last mower I had could only get through in first gear! Even in first gear I had to stop often and sort of let the motor catch up. Believe me when I say it is like heaven on earth being able to glide over this grass at a decent clip without even having to worry about this 22hp Kawasaki motor having a problem!

The bottom line is that I am very pleased with this mower and if it lasts for 10 or 15 years than it will be worth the price. For now I am the envy of my whole neighborhood and instead of dreading mowing the lawn I actually look forward to it. If you can afford it then buy this one and you will not regret it.
