Keep the Garden Safe

I have two dogs who absolutely love to dig. I started to put used coffee grinds in my garden to make it more fertile, and it has kept the dogs out! I don't know if it is the smell they do not like, but they no longer dig at all.

In fact, they no longer go in the garden at all. This gives my plants time to grow, as well as fertile soil so they are healthier.

Fantastic tip
by: sunflower

I am having trouble with my 4 cats in my flower beds throughout my yard. This tip will be very useful. I like the idea that it is also eco-friendly. Thanks for sharing such a valuable tip.

Coffee

I agree that is a great tip. I will be sure to try it since I have chipmunks trying to eat the tops off many of my plants. Do you think this will also work for golphers? I will have to try.

I have cats
by: Kayla

I have cats and this tip works for them as well. They'll go into the garden to sniff, but then will leave after they can't figure out why the garden smells so weird.
