Murray Self Propelled optional mulcher with bagger

by Deborah Kolesar

This lawn mower is easy to use, economically a great price and great for the everyday person to use with ease. It has an optional mulching and optional bagger attachment, that is easy to install and remove.

The safety handle is padded with thick black foam so your hands are protected and lessoning the vibration from this mower.

The only problem I had was with the pull cord start, that at times takes several times to pull, causing the thin nylon cord to wrap and tangle around the side of the handle bars of the mower. Easy to use when pushing since it is self propelled, especially with the larger wheels on the back and smaller rugged wheels on the front, making this lawn mower great for slopes, hills and other grades in a yard.

There is an easy located primer button before the deck of the lawn mower and off to the side for safety of getting burnt by a hot motor.

The choke level is on the handle bar with other adjustments to control the revs and speed of the motor is easy to access.

The briggs and stranton engine is enough power to do most mowing jobs with ease and without over heating.

The plus with this mower I feel is the mulcher, it puts the leaves, grass, and small tree twigs and branches into small pieces to absorb back into the soil making this a great mower for the enviroment. The cost was fare for what I feel this mower provides.

Murray Select 22" 3 in 1 Push
by: Rob S

Purchased a Murray Select 22" 3 in 1 push mower in 2001. Other than replacing a wheel, I have had no problems with the mower.

This mower has 2 6.5HP Briggs and Stratton engine. I really like the options of mulching, bagging, ort side discharge.

Price was less than many other mowers.

Machine was purchased at Home Depot, but it seems the Home Depot's I go to no longer sell the Murray brand. I think Murray was actually purchased by Briggs and Stratton a few years ago
